“A lot of the films now are more focused on the visuals than on the actors. I think all directors should go to drama school.”

You know Celia Walden was right…she is so cool!!!
She wore the abayah in the Middle East Film Festival “in accordance with its Muslim laws”?
so, you have to wear it on formal occasions there or something? hmmm..the others with her weren’t wearing traditional clothes…

UAE has no rules on wearing Abayah.
Only Saudi does, and Saudi sucks, I know, I’m living here temporarily.

Thanks for the scans Lorna and Lola. Thanks for the interesting Interview’s interview Mycah. We are never bored in this site Mariana.
PS I have a photo of my grandma that it’s very close to Eva’s photo as Miss G. The style, the pose the look (especially the hair) reflecting the 30’s style is so real. Perferct transformation! I don’t know if you have noticed but I am eager for Crash…

… eager for Cracks I meant

George : verbal slip-up ? :p
It’s true that the 30’s atmosphere is completely respected in that photography, and from an artistic point of view, the colors, the shade (especially on Eva’s face), everything looks perfect. I also love Eva’s expression. Her look has something which reminds me Anne Frank or something like that.

Tango_down: We say that “…the wrong words sometimes tell the truth”. Maybe in my mind I have already nomnated Cracks for Oscar (…as Crash won 3 of them!)

George : it’s Freud who said that verbal slip-up (in french we say “lapsus”) are expression of the unconscious. I like this point of view, because it has been proven everytime I heard one.
I’m joining your eager, or better said expectation, for Cracks lol
