  1. George Says:

Oh awesome! Where did you find them Miss M? Perhaps you have connections with M (you know, 007’s boss) or (…simpler) they are in the extended version of CR released in DVDs. Question: why they cut these beautiful scenes?
A quantum of solace (…hihihi Tango_down likes the puns) for Eva is that the deleted scenes are less now than in KoH…

  2. Mariana Says:

George: The 3-disc Deluxe Edition of CR. There are plenty of other extras as well. Go and buy it now! 😛

  3. Tom Says:

WOW!!!!! In a couple of the photos, their lips almost touch!!!! 🙂

  4. Tango_down Says:

Mariana : I waited for a long time this Deluxe Edition, you remind me its release, so I went out with my dugout canoe to order it on the south-America biggest river 😉

I’m wondering what is the dialogue between Vesper and Bond after they meet again following the dinner’s scene on the train, which is one of my favorite in CR. They seem both to have a little smile after their poker’s game together that Vesper won.

  5. Liz Says:

George: You should follow Mariana’s suggestion and buy the Deluxe Edition.
It’s really great. I got it for Christmas and it has brought me some nice hours of extra Bond/Eva-material, e.g. they have a 20 minutes’ video how they filmed the scenes of the sinking palazzo in Venice including Eva’s underwater-training/filming! It’s awesome!!!!
Mariana: Thank you for uploading the captures. I see, you are as lucky as I am for already being in possession of the new DVD-set.;)
But I am still wondering what happened to that scene when Eva/Vesper and Daniel/James fool around in the ocean… We have pictures of it in the gallery… Surely, you know which I am talking about…
Honestly, I am a bit sad they didn’t add it to the deleted scenes section.
Countdown: only 23 days to go until….

  6. Tom Says:

    Possible Eva sighting on 1/09/09

  7. Tascha Says:

George: Marianna is absolutely right! I’ve got this one of my own and I love it! Though Eva’s not going to appear that often in the interviews as she should be (it’s of course, Daniel who makes the most of this part). But it’s more of worth for the deleted scenes!

Marianna: I think they were quite right to cut these scenes in the hospital and the one in Prague, but the other one’s… no way.
    As they’re with Eva…

  8. George Says:

Ok folks, I will go for it through the river that Tango_down mentioned. By the way, Tango_down I think it’s the biggest in the planet regarding the water amount. (…also regarding book orders 🙂 ).
Tom: LA is too far for us, but she is getting closer to you !

  9. Guy_Lusignan Says:

I have one suit that is exactly the same (including shirt and tie) than Daniel Craig is wearing.

    Sorry about the off topic.

  10. George Says:

Guy: Is it your official nomination for being 008?

  11. Tascha Says:

Liz: jeah, countdown… well, I just told George I booked my flight a week later… from Feb 05th til Feb 07th… it’s much more cheaper for me (in the end: 170,- Euro altogether – flight, hotel, bus transfer and travelcard), and I don’t have a chance to get the premiere date off… but I hope you’ll make it.
It really drives me crazy… I was so near… but, well, at least, I’ll be in London and watching Franklyn!

Tango_down: her opening scene on the train is one of my favourites…she really gives him paroli and they play so well together; this is like acting should be.

But which one do you mean exactly? After the train scene they’re heading for the hotel having another arguing…

Liz: think, you’re right. Would like to have this one in the deleted section, too.

Finallly, I’ll keep my fingers crossed for Eva that all’s running well tomorrow.

  12. Johnny Says:

I just saw at imdb that the release date for Franklyn has been moved to Frebruary 20th. I had to come here to warn you, but probably you’ve already seen it too.

Oh well I hope that’s not true 🙁
After all imdb isn’t that accurate and I’ve yet to find another site that state the delay.

Tascha: When I saw The Golden Compass I felt really sad because I loved the books and the movie just seemed too rushed, and of course Ms. Green was underused…
As there are no plans to shoot the sequels at the moment, I think that we won’t be able to see Eva’s true potential as Serafina Pekkala. They didn’t even show Kaisa her daemon!
In Compass she was really good as always, she’s the perfect person to play Serafina (she has that mysterious look :)), but she’s barely in it… I mean she appears in what, 3 scenes? Anyway she makes an impression on the viewer. I have this little cousin who at the end of the movie didn’t stop talking about her, of how beautiful and strong she was 😛
Despite all that, Arsène Lupin is by far an inferior movie. And yes Eva still manages to shine throughout the movie with her soft and bad written character.

Sorry for my monologue but that thing with Golden Compass was just disappointing for me!

  13. Guy_Lusignan Says:

George: You have had a very good idea, I could be the 008, but unfortunately I’m not so good looking like Daniel Craig.

  14. George Says:

Guy: Image is not everything, it’s something relative. Consider the reactions of most of the 007 fans when Daniel took the role in CR

  15. Tango_down Says:

Tascha : Before arriving at the hotel they get into a black vintage car, the scene starts at the moment Vesper walks directly to the car to sit inside and James stays outside to take delivery of a letter. It seems like the first part of the cut scenes’ screenshots are just the moment Vesper and James meet again the day after their dinner on the train. So we have a more coherent continuation between the dinner’s scene and the car and hotel’s one. You know I always wondered what was their words when they met again after that great conversation they had in the train. I always felt that the one in the car wasn’t the logical continuation.

  16. Tascha Says:

Johnny: Unfortunately, you are right about the Franklyn premiere date… it changed to Feb 20th. Luckily, I only have to change my flight.

About The Golden Compass… it’s exactly what I think about it. The books are so great, they didn’t do it justice.
To admit, I was totally disappointed about Daniel, he has got such a potential, but he couldn’t show it here.
Well and Eva.. no use to say something more about her acting talent… she lightend the film up.

  17. Tascha Says:

P.S. Wanted to say: The film didn’t do justice to the books…

  18. Tascha Says:

P.P.S. The film did no justice to the books… sorry.

I think I’m a little bit confused about this Franklyn premiere talk.

  19. Liz Says:

Tango_down: You are right. The pictures show the two meeting the morning after they had the conversation on the train.
They are joking about taxes and if secret agents have to pay, too.

Tascha and Johnny: Unfortunately, I haven’t had time to read the books yet. So you both would warmly recommend them?
Even thought about ordering them for my birthday=) Maybe I’ll do so now….hehe
Tascha: I hope everything worked well with changing you flight to London. So you’ll go there the weekend following 20th February??
I’ll be planning my trip the following weeks… with not yet knowing who will accompany me..
    Hope we’ll meet there!!

  20. Veronique Says:

Do you know where to find the videos of deleted scenes on the internet?

  21. Guy_Lusignan Says:

You are right at the begining almost all the 007 fans were not happy with Daniel Craig for the rol, nevertheless 3 years, and two movies after that, we can say without any doubt, that he is the best 007.

  22. George Says:

    Veronique: didn’t found anything…

  23. George Says:

I feel embarrassed with my grammar mistake (you know itch, tingling and all that. I meant “didn’t find” anything… I feel better now Tango_down 🙂

  24. Tango_down Says:

Guy : Not sure the best but sure one of the best 😉

  25. Tango_down Says:

George : lol you’ve made me confused, I thought it was my comment posted with your name. I was saying in my mind “what the f*** ??!!” before understand the copy/paste thing.

    Sacré George !

  26. Veronique Says:

    Thanks for searching though!

  27. Liz Says:

    That’s me babbling once again…
Tango_down, George: you guys always make me laugh when I come here… I think you are so funny;)
I don’t know… but you really keep this place an absolute entertainment what concerns commenting with a high portion of humour!!
All the others can be funny, too, but I just want to point out the two of you…

  28. George Says:

Liz: As lough is good for the health (scientifically proved) we much appreciate the distinction. EGW becomes a cerebral spa…

  29. Tango_down Says:

Liz : I have to tell you George’s secret (but it’s just between us, I know here we are in full privacy) : he was born with a big red nose.

  30. George Says:

Fu.. ! I thought I ‘ve destroyed all evidence of my secret!
PS Tango_down, don’t tell me that you also know Victoria’s secret?

  31. Tango_down Says:

George : How did you know what I was talking about ??

PS : I always knew that Victoria was the father !
    I mean of Rachida Dati’s daughter 😆

  32. George Says:

    French mysteries…

Victoria’s secret has nothing to do with French political issues (…or does it?). And I also don’t mean Mrs Beckham (…although it may be one of her secrets). Ask the girls about Victoria’s secret and how desirable and well hidden it is.

  33. Liz Says:

George: Victoria’s secret SHOULD be well hidden.. but isn’t always..hehe.. anyway, desirable describes it well;)

    Tango_down: I am really amused by this story about Rachida’s daughter’s father…
actually, we don’t get too many news about it…
have you heard of any new speculations?=)

  34. Tango_down Says:

George : I don’t know about all Victorias’ secret, but I got the key of mine 😉

  35. Tango_down Says:

Liz : People say because Rachida’s daughter has no father, she is God’s child. It’s God’s miracle, and they all start venerating the Saint Rachida 😆

  36. Liz Says:

    Tango_down: LOL!!
So they really believe a child is one of God’s presents to us…
Anyway, I find it remarkable that Rachida went to work only six days after giving birth to her baby and she is pretty woman like many other female French politicians… (but that’s another story our French teacher told us proudly about)

  37. Tascha Says:

    I finally succeeded in keeping up-to-date and…

George: I know I’d better drop it, but when reading certain commentares in former articles … hmmm…I somehow feel guilty for having said a certain man’s name too much… so want to apologize this way. Will never mention it again and hope, you’ll forgive me…

Liz: it’s really funny, you speak out what I was thinking… these two of them make me laugh, too, though I sometimes only understand Chinese, but it definitely makes a boring office-day more brighter… ;-), that’s for sure (hope, no one of my collegues know who is writing this).

  38. Tango_down Says:

Liz : Hey let’s tell that religious theory about Rachida’s daughter to your french teacher, he sure will appreciate 😆

Concerning the fact that she went back to work only a few days after her childbirth, especially in a country which has one of the longest maternity leave, most people are scandalized about that.

But you’ll tell me, she’s a Saint, that’s not the same as a human 😆

  39. George Says:

Tascha: You are forgiven. With Tango_down we have developed a special code of communication called Tangeorgian. Don’t worry if you don’t understand everything. Neither do I 🙂

  40. George Says:

Tango_down: Rachida Dati quitted from the government after your comment. Be careful next time…

  41. Tango_down Says:

Tascha : So you speak Chinese, it’s not an easy language, do you also know writing ?

George : Ni hao ! I’m going to cash my cheque I’ve just received from the french magistracy 😀

  42. Liz Says:

Tascha: I am glad we can amuse your mornings;)
Concerning your London plans… I hope you can reschedule your flight once again…
I guess you get as crazy about it as I do.
    Very mysterious, those film premieres!

Tango_down: Except from the fact that it’s a female teacher;), great idea..
If it gets to that subject tomorrow in French lesson, I’ll tell her..haha
In Germany we say “I understand only Chinese” when we don’t understand a word.. so I’d guess Tascha doesn’t speak Chinese.

  43. George Says:

Liz: Mysterious films like Franklyn deserve mysterious premieres…

  44. Tango_down Says:

Liz : So do french people 😉 :

Tout ça pour moi, ce n’est que du chinois !
Je comprends rien à ce que tu dit, arrête de parler chinois !

  45. Liz Says:

    Tango_down: Oh, j’ai pas su!
Merci pour ton aide d’améliorer mon francais.
J’en ferai usage demain dans le cours de francais;)
