While I’m flattered and appreciate the interest of so many fansites wanting to affiliate with EvaGreenWeb.com, it’s been a while since I’m NOT accepting any new affilites, unless you’re a friend of mine who happens to be opening a new site, or if you have a HQ fansite dedicated to Eva herself or her co-stars and family members. I don’t want to be one of those fansites that have thousands of affiliates that they don’t even visit, or even know who runs them, and I also prefer if your site have some content. It doesn’t matter if your site doesn’t have thousands of images, but it might be a site, not just some random fansite built in less than a day just to make profit with eventual ads. EvaGreenWeb.com is a profit-free fansite (the only ads here are those of my host) that doesn’t want to encourage money-seeking only fansites. While there’s nothing wrong in trying to make some cash out of a hobby that can be time and money consuming (I know about it very well), I’d like to see that your site exists for a reason more important than just cash, but because you definitely appreciate the artist in question and want to share the love for his/her work, unite fans and provide an updated resource. If you make money with your fansite, that’s perfectly fine in my book, as long as it keeps being what a fansite should be, not something without content, never updated and full of ads, just trying to cash on a profitable celeb. I had already posted about not accepting new affiliates in the affiliates page, but I receive quite a lot of emails despite my announcement. And I hope that this announcement on the main page will finally set the record straight. That said, if I’m not accepting your site right now, it doesn’t mean I’m accusing you of having a low quality fansite or being a vulture. I’ve been contacting by some cool fansites too and I thank them for the interest and wish them good luck. I just have too many affiliates in my humble opinion. And I’m not here to collect affiliates. Thanks for understanding.

And you’re doing a great job, Mariana! <3

And random, but does anyone know if Jonathan Ross already reviewed “Franklyn” on Film 2009? I read something along those lines on imdb, but I always watch Film 2009 and I seem to have missed it…

Tom: sleep on the other side if you are dreaming money from a fan site. You should join The Dreamers :)

EvaAnne: Probably yes he did. There is a whole thread dedicated to Jonathan Ross’ review about Franklyn. Not very flattering comments I must admit…

I love how friendly and closeknit this site is, and I’m glad it’s staying that way. :D

BTW, I really want that Matt Smith dude to drop out of “Womb” and for Adrien Brody to replace him.

Because Eva and Adrien must make a movie together. Uh. Yeah.

  • EvaAnne
    Posted on March 17, 2009

George: Yeah, I saw that too, but I’ve watched every Film 2009 episode so far, except one, that I missed, but that one was from before Franklyn was released…..weird…..

In that case, does anyone have a video for EGW?

    I did find this:
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/7911485.stm

There’s a tiny bit of Eva at the end.

EvaAnne: Thank you for sharing, great detective work. I liked the title of the video: “Franklyn may be next Slumdog”. Jeremy Thomas is cool. Don’t forget we owe him much (…as he is the producer that introduced Eva in “The Dreamers”)

Courtney: i’m with you on seeing Eva and Adrien onscreen together :)

EvaAnne: thank you for sharing the video ;)

George: i think Jeremy must receive the same kind of love from us like Angharad does already

But I couldn’t find this confirmed.

George & EvaAnne: this is tricky. i hope Liz and Tascha can find some updates for us….

As far as I know, filming began on March 3rd near Hamburg or the North Sea.
An assistant from Razor Filmproduktion GmbH said that there had already been an extra casting but they might do one more.
I think I’ll call them again at the beginning of next week.
Then I may have some more information.

  • Liz
    Posted on March 20, 2009

Little info: It’s proofen that they are filming. I saw a picture somebody took of Eva while she was having a pause from shooting.
It looks windy so it’s iikely to be at the North Sea.
I’ll send the picture to Mariana so that she can upload it.

  • Liz

Ok I know now where they are: They are filming in a village called LIST on the German island SYLT.
Unfortunately, that would take me about at least 10 hours to get there by car. But maybe Tascha has better access????

  • George
    Posted on March 21, 2009

Thank you Liz. I think it’s more than enough to follow the German magazines for any report on the shooting.
