Thanks Tascha and Miss M. I like Eva’s unmaked-up face and Matt Smith’s blue staring eyes (: (…strong imagination, remember).
What is the story of this photo Tascha? I can’t believe you get so close, or….. are you the director of photography of “Womb”? 🙂 I think that this photo resolves the “…you ‘ll see later…” of your previous post.

Tascha: i now proclaim you as the Greenite of the Month 😀

i almost forgot, of course, thanks a lot Miss M 😉

George: yeah, this is the “but”… there was a press conference in a café directly situated on Ording Beach at Saturday (the day I wanted to go first…). The picture was taken from the shooting this day. It appears together with an article where the journalist describes a scene, statement of Eva and Benedek.
And this is why I don’t like Michael Jordan’s saying anymore…
spot: March or April?… as they now moved to Hamburg to shoot in a studio… it’s supposed to be March…
P.S. Tango_down doesn’t seem to talk to me anymore… and where’s Liz? Holidaying?
How was Franklyn…?

Hi everyone! It’s been a long time since my last post! I’ve been awfully busy…
Thanks Miss M for your constant updates, even in your busy times!
Thanks Tascha for these amazing updates concerning Womb! You’re doing an amazing detective work 😉
Now I can see why Eva chose to take the lead in Womb. It looks like it’s going to be one of those minimalist films with beautiful, but sad, scenery. After all it’s about a tragic love story! I’ve to admit that at first I didn’t get much excited, but now I think this film will be very touching, beautiful and more important: it will be very different from her previous work!
Now a question about Cracks: anyone knows if it will premiere in Cannes?
P.S.: Eva looks so tired in the photo (but beautiful as always 😉

Tascha: I’m so sorry. But it’s been a busy time. Now, I’m on holiday theoretically, but practically: there are tons of work waiting for me! Really an awful lot of reading and presentation-preparing! Anyway, don’t want to bother you with this.
I should rather say thank you a thousand times for your enduring detective work! You know, I was quite disappointed and depressed that I couldn’t see Eva when she was filming here in Germany, so I kind of tried to distract myself in order not to get frustrated. I don’t think it worked out for me, anyway.
Yet I have been checking EGW everyday to keep updated and it’s always a pleasure to come here and see new posts, the great work Mariana does for the site and all the other people who contribute, like you do!!
Thanks a lot, my dears!
Me as well, I get really excited about “Womb”.
You told about that press conference: Have you been there at the café or waited outside to get a glimpse of Eva and the other cast and crew members??
About Franklyn, I really enjoyed it! I think it’s such a unique movie; I’ve never seen anything comparable. Surely; at the beginning it’s a bit confusing because you don’t know how the four characters are related but at the end, the movie happens to be really thoughtful and enduring. I love all of Eva’s scenes: she is so beautiful, especially the video that is shown in which her hair is styled straight back and you only see her face(hope you know which scenes I’m talking about). That’s so amesing… Besides, I love the way she speaks and even the rest of the dialogues were pretty easy to understand.
I’ll definitely buy the DVD when it comes out in summer!
I follow Johnny and ask: Any news about Cracks’s premiere???? Unfortunately, i can’t find the film programme for the “Festival de Cannes”.

To my shame I have never seen The Dreamers ( I saw the trailers, posters, interviews but not the whole movie; I even have the CD with the soundtracks)
And what was my surprise when I saw the movie in the TV programme! =)
So you can watch it on Sunday at 0:50 a.m. (on NTV; НТВ, Russia)
PS: Sorry for being out of topic

Liz: Nice to hear from you again, but I’m sorry that you’re packed up with work during your holidays.
Well, that press conference… no, I wasn’t lucky to be there at Saturday when it was held, went one day later and missed them…
And find myself still frustrating about this, too.
What’s making it worse, that they’re supposed to be in Hamburg now, quite around the corner, but in a studio… so, no chance.
Unless someone’s seeing her jogging around the Alster…
Yeah, Franklyn was amazing and I know which video you mean. I like the scene in the hospital where’s she’s lying in the bed, asking for her mother…and the beginning at the psyc.
But I still couldn’t find out why “he” has to kill “the man”…
Anyway…
Johnny & Liz: About Cannes: I somewhere read that the official programme will be released on April23th… so, if this is true, we have to wait a bit and see then whether Cracks is going to premiere there or not.
But it’s strange that you don’t hear anything from Cracks at the moment, isn’t it?

Tascha : Hey don’t worry we’re here ! I’m just following the news with some distance because of my life, I would have said “busy life” but it seems to sound like pleonasm, isn’t it ? I also take unintentionally some distance with Eva since we still don’t have any Franklyn’s release date here in France and I’m starting to feel “world-weary” about that
By the way, as George and spot said, you did a great detective job and thanks a lot for providing EGW with it, keeping us aware about Eva’s few news
April 3rd, 2009 at 9:36 am
Johnny, Liz: I will be in Dublin in two weeks and I hope I will collect news about Cracks. It’s Irish case after all.
Tascha: Tango_down is “cold” with you because you didn’t invite him in your Sylt-adventure 🙂

Tascha and Liz: Aagh! All this talk about Franklyn makes my so envious of you! It’s not shown in theatres over here, and it probably won’t be.
But…I work at my local arthouse cinema, and I have recently contacted the programmer and suggested Franklyn would be perfect for them….so, who knows….Fingers crossed!

sei bellissima.
April 5th, 2009 at 9:31 am
EvaAnne: “local arthouse cinema” 🙂 I also contacted the production manager of GeorgeMovies Ltd with the same request, but he said he founds difficulties in obtaining the specific movie 😉 Fingers double crossed…

Oh wow…It’s been so long since my last post…Sorry, I’ve been really busy (this semester has been really tough on me, but I passed Math, Comparative Anatomy and Physics, thank God)…
What happened? I turn my back for a sec and suddenly, all this Eva news!!!
She looks so refreshingly natural in this picture…you know, it reminds me of pics from her Arsene Lupin days…
EvaAnne: Same here…It’s been almost two months since Franklyn was released, but still nothing here!!!
Many thanks Tascha and Miss M!!!!
