Eva Green has said playing a lesbian was “exactly the same” as playing a straight character.

The former Bond Girl portrays a 1930s boarding school teacher who seduces one of her female pupils in forthcoming film Cracks, but wasn’t phased by acting opposite someone of the same sex.

“It is exactly the same – it doesn’t make a difference whether it is a woman or a man,” the Casino Royale beauty said.

Eva said the subject matter of the new flick – due out later this year – is “quite taboo”.

“It is about a passionate relationship, it is good, intense and quite an unusual story,” she said.

Asked whether she thought it might cause an uproar, the French actress said: “I don’t know, I haven’t seen it yet, to me it more of a love story and how far you can go. It is about obsession and innocence, it is very interesting.”

Well, I got tired waiting for Franklyn’s release in french cinemas, so I have found a way to get it : I asked a good friend to punch me right on the face and then got a teeth that I put under my pillow the following night. Well, without surprise, I got my Franklyn’s copy the next day.
So a lot of thanks to the corrupted Tooth Fairy.

I really wish Cracks will have a better media coverage.
