This is the third feature Ms Green has shot in Ardmore Studios, Wicklow, after ‘Cracks’ and ‘Camelot’. I had thought the more decayed parts of Georgian Dublin, both north of the Liffey, and down Thomas Street, would suit ‘Penny Dreadful’. Also likely to be considerably cheaper.
