I've just received the following email from Evey: "Just thought I would let you know that in the October issue of Men's Vogue there is a two-page spread about Eva as Vesper. It includes a new interview and a brand-new, totally gorgeous pic of Eva! I don't have this mag but there must be someone on EGW who does, or will." And I've just added a new "Casino Royale" still to the gallery.

The Japanese trailer of "Casino Royale" features two new scenes with Eva that aren't featured in the international version: Vesper looking in the mirror and trapped in the elevator. Click here to view it. Captures can be found in the gallery. I've also added a new promo shot. Last but not least, Ms Green is in the new issue of French mag Score. I don't have that mag so I couldn't make scans. But here is a preview. Contributions would be appreciated! A HQ scan was added to the gallery.

Although IMDb.com lists Eva as being the protagonist of the upcoming Therese Raquin movie adaptation based on Emile Zola's classic, her management informed me that it's not true and that Eva hasn't signed anything and isn't attached to it. As of now, Ms Green is concentrating her efforts on "The Golden Compass", and, eventually, the two further films in the "His Dark Materials" trilogy.

Many thanks to Erika for sending in scans from the August 10th issue of Vanity Fair Italy featuring an exclusive article on Casino Royale.  I translated what Eva says for those of you who don't understand Italian:  EG: "I agreed to play Vesper because the role is absolutely original: she's the first woman that Bond falls in love with. At first, she's scared of him, because they had described him as a tough guy, but then she lets herself go. And the same goes for him, and this will mark him forever." VF: At the time of The Dreamers, your parents were worried because of the sex scenes. Is it still like that? EG: "No, also because Vesper isn't your typical Bond girl. I don't have any steamy sex scenes. And I'm the only one who didn't have to go through special physical training."

The second Casino Royale trailer was released this afternoon. Eva speaks in it and there are lots of new scenes featuring her! Check it out here or here! If you're having trouble viewing it, the theatrical trailer of CR can now be found on You Tube as well. To download a huge .mov file to your hard disk, go here. Thanks to those who are sharing the trailer online. I've also added a new still and captures from the trailer to the gallery.
