I’ve scanned and added to our gallery an “old” new interview with Eva for a French magazine where she explains what made her want to take part in Camelot (for example: the opportunity to work on her storyline with the screenwriter), what she thinks of Morgan, etc. It’s a very nice reading if you understand French or liked Eva as Morgan.

Welcome to the shiny new version of Eva Green Web! This gorgeous new look was created by our good friend Nicole and we hope you will all love it as much as we do. We wanted something a little lighter and brighter that showed Eva’s more playful side and Nicole did a fantastic job of doing just that. Please let us know if you spot any errors so we can fix them ASAP. 🙂

Eva Green is intense in her feature for the Denim issue of Flaunt magazine, on stands now.

Here’s what the 31-year-old Dark Shadows actress had to share:

On 300: Battle of Artemisia: “Soon I’m training to become G.I. Jane or Xena or something like that…I’m a warrior—she’s like a man, ruthless and driven by revenge—which I’ve actually done a lot of. But this will be a challenge…Four people, just for me, are coming to Paris to train me. It will be very fancy—hand-to-hand fighting and double swords.”

On image and self-perception: Many actors are not confident, or they hide it. My acting coach actually was saying, ‘People think you’re so cool, so strong,’ and I was like, ‘Oh my god, do they?’ It’s funny the image that we give.”

Thanks to spot, Isabell, miguel, eden Liao, Imperfection and keviners for the heads-up.

I received an email from Ms. Elisa Favreau from StudioCanal on March 20th and this might be really interesting to many of you.

Are you an aspiring writer? This might be your chance! StudioCanal is looking for a brand new novel written by an unknown, unpublished writer. If you wrote an original, unique, interesting, captivating, well-written novel that’s not available on the interwebs or in print, keep reading. Plagiarism won’t be accepted! The novel must be original and you musn’t be a published writer. StudioCanal wants to encourage new writers. They want to adapt and eventually co-produce the best novel in partnerships with small independent production companies from the UK and Italy. Nobody is looking for the new Twilight!

If you think you have a chance, please submit your full name, place of birth, city of residence, resume, synopsis of your novel (they’ll probably receive many submissions that they’ll need to read a synopsis before reading the entire novel), your major inspirations behind the novel, favourite books and authors, what made you want to be a writer, and, finally, a pdf file containing your novel. By submitting your novel, you give you on rights to it, meaning that they’ll belong to the database of StudioCanal now. You may be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement. Languages accepted are English, French and Italian.

You must be older than 18.

Your deadline is up until June 1st, but, in case this is a success, the deadline can be extended.

The email you have to use is Elisa Favreau favreau.elisa [REMOVETHIS] @ [REMOVETHIS] gmail.com

All legal stuff, payment and detailed info will be then discussed via them. I’m just passing the news forward.
