Thanks to Irène and Olga we have brand new scans from Sim, a Russian magazine. 🙂

On a night of high-octane glamour Monaco’s Prince Albert welcomed stunning French actress Eva Green as she arrived at an exclusive VIP gala.
Showing off her unique Parisian style, the Kingdom Of Heaven beauty stepped out in a sparkling black gown, with her dark hair elegantly upswept.
The principality’s reputation for attracting some of the world’s most glamorous figures was reinforced by a host of other stars as well. Danish supermodel Helen Christensen stepped out in an icy blue asymmetrical number, while Welsh mezzo-soprano Katherine Jenkins, who performed in front of the star-studded audience, wore a strapless floor-length gown. British supermodel Sophie Dahl also attended the event.
Wednesday’s gala in the Mediterranean principality was the launch bash for a limited-edition pen dedicated to the late Prince Rainier – Albert’s father. Fashioned from white gold, diamonds and rubies, the fountain pen is being sold to benefit a children and arts foundation set up by Albert’s mother Princess Grace.

Thanks to Holli, Clarisse, Caladonia and Casty the Clown for making sure that we didn’t miss the new “Golden Compass” posters featuring Serafina. I particularly love the French one! What about you?

MAG ALERT: By the way, Eva is featured in the new issue of GQ UK with Daniel Craig on the cover. I still don’t have a copy of it, so contributions would be very much appreciated!
New “Golden Compass” character posters were released today. Here is Serafina’s:

Thanks to Holli for the heads-up and HisDarkMaterials.org for the image.
I’d like to thank everyone who voted for Eva as the best French artist who lives in London, but unfortunately she didn’t win the election. The lucky winner was writer Marc Lévy. Congrats to him! Eva didn’t attend the awards ceremony yesterday, so there are no photos of her. I’d also like to thank Laurent Feniou who organized the event and who kept me informed about everything concerning it.
# IMDb has listed The Golden Compass to be featured on HBO: First Look on November 20th. Its a good bit in advance, and hopefully they will have completed editing on more footage and will show new scenes with the actors.
Thanks to Holli for the heads-up.
Hopefully we’ll get a video!
# Patrick sent me a cool video clip that has Eva talking about the “Golden Compass”, her flying and being a witch. It was on the bottom of his msn instant messenger menu. Here‘s a link to it.
New scans coming soon.
He’s midway through work on a new film, Franklyn, in London.
“It’s with Ryan Phillippe and Eva Green. I can’t really say too much about the story line, but it’s pretty far-out. . . . It was the most interesting script I read after Control, and one of the only ones that didn’t involve me killing myself, either. Not to say I’ll never play another depressed individual, but not immediately after this.”

Thanks to Holli of Dakota Blue Richards Resource, we have HQ screencaps from the “Golden Compass” trailer. Enjoy! 🙂

The Golden Compass is in two mags this month:

http://www.empireonline.com/magazine/ (I don’t know if she’s in this)
Okay, I would never normally post and ask for donations but this is an emergency. Mycah, fellow Famke-Janssen.org, Abbie-Cornish.com, Rose-McGowan.com and Glamour Reese Witherspoon (these last three are co-run with Riikka) webmistress, is in a horrible situation right now. Her house burned down earlier this week and she really needs our help. If you enjoy her work on her sites and can spare anything at all, please consider donating. She is okay but her family lost their home and all possessions and they have no place to stay. You can read about the incident here. If you can help at all, Mycah’s PayPal address is [email protected]. I’m sure that any donations will be more than appreciated.
The very first promotional shot of “Franklyn” is now out! It portrays Eva Green (Emilia) and Sam Riley (Milo). How exciting, isn’t it?!
By the way, if you can, go and see “Control” in which Riley portrays Ian Curtis, the singer of Joy Division. He’s truly great in it. And the photography is absolutely beautiful. I definitely recommend the film and hope to see more of Sam Riley in the future.

EDIT: Here’s a scan from today’s Daily Mail thanks to Lorna!

Better late than never…
After my computer broke down, I lost tracks of things… But here is the October Calendar page thanks to our awesome mata!

Many thanks to my good friend Mycah for sending in a breathtakingly beautiful new shot of Eva from the Photo Issue of Entertainment Weekly!
