GORGEOUS Eva plays agent Vesper Lynd, who is sent by London to keep tabs on 007. Inevitably, she and Bond fall for each other.
She says of the shoot: “Daniel is a fantastic actor – very intense, very special. There is something ‘broken’ about him that is quite attractive.
He’s not the obvious choice but he will be great.”
She adds: “In the film, Vesper and Bond are equals. I really like my character – she is very funny, very sharp, very sexy. She is not an obvious femme fatale.”
Although 26-year-old Eva’s favourite Bond is Sean Connery, she reckons a guy’s appearance is not paramount when she is searching for a fella. She says: “I like a sense of humour and sensitivity.”
Eva admits that being a Bond girl was not one of her childhood dreams – and at first it seemed she would not be able to take the role of Vesper due to other movie commitments.
She says: “I was attached to another project so I wasn’t thinking about casting. Then I couldn’t do the other film any more, so I auditioned with Daniel.
“A few days later I got the part and I couldn’t believe it.”
