French actress Eva Green has blown open the Gallic myth that English men lack that certain ‘je ne sais quoi’.
The Bond girl, who lives alone in her adopted home town of London, said she’s more than willing to give Blighty’s finest a chance.
‘The cliché of the Englishman – quite uptight, the head not quite connected to the body – I’ve found generally to be untrue,’ the 28-year-old said.
But she added her steamy scene with Daniel Craig in Casino Royale didn’t really float her boat.
‘We tried our best to make it look convincing but it’s a long way away from real kissing,’ she told GQ magazine.

But she lives together with Marton, right?!

EvaAnne: Yes. They probably asked a hypothetical question. Mags always do. It’s like when popstars/rockstars go to a certain country and they say: “… girls are the prettiest in the world”. Then they go to another country, and the journalists ask what they think of the local women and they give the same answer.
But Eva is right. I mean, falling in love shouldn’t be about one’s nationality or not, right? In theory she’s free (I mean when she’s single) to fall in love with whoever she wants to, independent of the country the guy is from. It’s about the inside.

Mariana: …so may we still hope? (lol)
PS: Is the name of the photographer in GQ photos true or nickname? Lol at the relevance…

I think it would have been funnier if she said, “No, no I don’t think I could ever love an Englishman. It doesn’t matter what he looks like or what his personality is. If he has English ancestry, i just couldn’t bring myself to do it. Now if you will excuse me, i think i might get sick.”
What an asinine question!

This mini interview is so weird :s
And I also don’t like that photo very much… It seems that the GQ photoshoot will provide a lot of “sexy femme fatale” thing, which isn’t necessarily bad, but the previous photoshoot she made for GQ, in a forest, was so beautiful and light. One of my favorites actually. Anyway I’d love to see Eva even if she was in a clown costume, so I’m impatient to see it!
Tom: LOL that was really funny, I’m still laughing at your comment! You’re right, I also think that question was a bit inappropriate.
